Overview
Implemented Comodo Antispam Gateway for Linux/Exim-based client with minimal email downtime to cut the amount of spam email client received.
Client Background
A small legal services client who had recently started receiving an unmanageable amount of spam email.
Project Overview
Through their own research, the client had decided on Comodo Antispam Gateway as their preferred solution, but needed someone to configure the service and make the changes with minimal downtime for their email services. Project was successfully implemented in under a week after acceptance.

Services Provided
- Coordinated with client on projected timeline for scheduling, and required information (credentials, specific implementation requirements – if any, etc)
- Configured Comodo Antispam Gateway
- Updated Exim on client server and DNS as required
- Cut over out-bound and then in-bound email to route through Comodo Antispam Gateway
- Provided documentation on new configuration to client at end of project
Impact
Full implementation from start to finish was under a week, limited email outages due to cut-overs to two windows of about 15 minutes each (after normal business hours), and immediate reduction in spam email received was very noticeable to the client’s users.
